How We Rate & Review: Our Methodology
Every rating on Celestial Essentials comes from hands-on testing with real New Zealand accounts — not marketing copy. This page explains exactly how we score, so you can judge our judgements.
The five pillars we score
Each site is rated out of 5, built from five weighted pillars. We fund a real account in NZD, play across pokies, tables and (where offered) live dealer or sports markets, then request a withdrawal and record what actually happens.

How we test — step by step
- Register & verify. We create a genuine account and complete KYC to time the verification process.
